WHAT IS AI ADVISORY?

Every week, organizations make AI decisions worth hundreds of thousands of dollars — which vendor to choose, which architecture to bet on, whether to build or buy, how to present AI ROI to the board. Most make these decisions without anyone in the room who has actually built and shipped production AI systems.

AI Advisory puts a senior AI partner in your corner. We offer two tracks: Executive Advisory for C-Level leaders navigating strategy and investment, and Technical Advisory for engineering leaders making architecture and implementation decisions.

You get the experience of a seasoned AI leader — without the 12-month recruiting cycle or the $300K+ salary.

TWO ADVISORY TRACKS

Choose the track that matches your needs — or combine both

Executive Advisory

For C-Level executives, VPs, and business leaders making AI investment and strategy decisions.

  • Walk into board meetings with a defensible AI investment narrative
  • Know exactly when to build, buy, or partner — with the numbers to back it
  • Have a governance framework before regulators ask for one
  • Stop evaluating vendors blind — get a structured comparison you can trust
  • Understand where competitors are investing and where you're falling behind
  • Turn vague "AI strategy" into a concrete plan tied to business KPIs

Technical Advisory

For CTOs, Tech Leads, and engineering managers making architecture and implementation decisions.

  • Ship your first AI feature with an architecture that won't need rebuilding in 6 months
  • Cut cloud AI costs without sacrificing performance or reliability
  • Pick the right model, framework, and serving strategy for your use case
  • Design MLOps and data pipelines that scale with your product
  • Avoid the security and compliance pitfalls that sink AI projects post-launch
  • Get a second opinion before committing to a tech stack you'll live with for years

Not sure which track is right for you?

Tell us about your situation and we'll recommend the best approach — or a combination of both.

SIGNS YOU NEED AI ADVISORY

You are making a big AI bet and want a second opinion

A major AI investment decision is on the table — choosing a vendor, architecture, or strategy — and you want expert validation.

Your team is skilled but lacks AI-specific experience

You have strong engineers, but nobody has built production AI systems before. You need guidance, not an outsourced team.

AI costs are growing faster than value

Your cloud AI spending is increasing, but the business impact is unclear. You need someone to optimize the economics.

You need to build AI governance from scratch

Regulatory requirements or board expectations demand a formal AI governance framework, and you don't know where to start.

HOW IT WORKS

We study your existing strategy docs, architecture, team structure, and competitive landscape. First session delivers an initial assessment and priority map.
3
Weeks 2–4
First Deliverables
Weekly or biweekly sessions (60–90 min) with written deliverables after each session: strategy docs, architecture reviews, decision frameworks, or vendor evaluations.
4

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How is Advisory different from Discovery?

Discovery is a 3-week sprint that produces one specific deliverable: an AI roadmap. Advisory is an ongoing relationship where you get guidance as decisions arise — vendor selection, architecture choices, board presentations, hiring strategy. Many clients start with Discovery and continue with Advisory for long-term support.

What does a typical session look like?

Sessions are 60–90 minutes, structured around your current decisions. You bring the context (a vendor proposal, an architecture diagram, a board question), we bring the analysis. Every session ends with a written deliverable: a recommendation document, a comparison matrix, or a decision framework you can share with your team.

Can we combine Executive and Technical tracks?

Yes, and it is the most effective setup. Executive decisions (invest in GenAI vs traditional ML) directly impact technical choices, and vice versa. Running both tracks in parallel ensures your strategy and architecture stay aligned.

Do we get support between sessions?

Yes. Urgent questions and quick reviews happen async via Slack or email. If your CEO asks about AI at a board meeting tomorrow, you can message us and get a concise brief the same day.

What is the minimum commitment?

We start with a 3-month engagement to build enough context about your organization and deliver meaningful impact. After that, the relationship continues month-to-month — cancel anytime with 30 days notice.

When is Advisory NOT the right fit?

If you need hands-on engineering work — someone writing code and shipping features — AI Squad is the right choice. Advisory is for organizations that have (or are building) their own team and need an experienced AI partner to guide the decisions, not do the coding.
